So, I have finally caught whatever cold Sweet Pea and Mr. Man had. I hate being sick, and I hate being sick when pregnant even more because you can't take the normal over the counter meds. All I want is something to make me sleep and let me breathe at night. Thankfully I can still take Cold Eze. For the next few days I will be smelling like Vicks Vapor Rub. I hope this passes fast.
Onto some less depressing news. I am starting to feel the need to be super-crafty. I've started knitting again, and as soon as I can beat this cold my grandma's sewing machine is going in to be serviced. I really hope that it doesn't cost too much. I have the desire to sew something which is strange because I don't even remember the last time I have worked on a sewing project. I really want to make some things for #2 and Sweet Pea. I just wish my machine could do a zigzag stitch. Sadly I need to keep reminding myself I need to finish this semester of classes before I dive into a crafting wonderland.

Hooray! The 301 is coming out! I pay $45.00 to have my machines serviced. I don't know what the going rate is in your area though. I strongly recommend finding someone with experience in servicing Singers. Zig-zag attachments are fairly inexpensive on eBay. My friend whose ID is "April1930s" specializes in selling Singer parts and would be reputable and helpful to buy from. I buy my attachments from her directly.
Sorry to hear you're sick. Pregnant and sick is miserable. I totally sympathize. Take care.
There is a singer shop near Toys R Us in Chatt-town. Hamilton Place Mall area.
I wish we could have a wonderland crafting session together! Alas. Hope you feel better!
Love, Mer.
